Circuit 7
Guide
An outdoor gym timer that works with zero bars
Parks eat cell signal. Sun washes the screen. Streaming trainers sit there spinning. Download the timer at home so it is already on the phone when you get there.
What breaks at an outdoor gym
- No signal. Video coaches need a connection. The court often does not have one.
- Your music dies. A lot of voice apps take over the speaker and pause Spotify or Apple Music.
- You are looking at the phone. You came to move through stations, not to babysit a stream.
If the timer only works on wifi, leave it at home.
What the clock has to do
A park interval timer has one job: keep the round honest while your phone stays in a pocket.
- Work and rest already set — Circuit 7 uses 45 seconds on / 15 seconds off across seven stations (~7 minutes a round).
- Voice cues for every station and transition, with the screen locked.
- 100% offline. Airplane mode is a valid test, not an edge case.
- Voice ducks your playlist, then restores volume. It never plays, pauses, or hijacks Spotify or Apple Music.
Start this way
- Download Circuit 7 at home, on wifi. There is no account.
- At the park, open The 7-Minute Baseline, The 7-Minute Circuit, or Station Timer.
- Start your music first. Press start. Put the phone away.
- Move when the voice says move. Rest when it says rest.
Free: The 7-Minute Baseline (names the move), The 7-Minute Circuit, and Station Timer (you pick the movement). Sessions log to your history and Apple Health.
